We are looking
for girls of senior school age to become part of our U13, U15
&U18 Girls teams.
Have you been playing rugby with the boys but have reached the age
where girls and boys separate?
or
maybe you are just ready to join the all girls game,?
or
have you always wanted to try rugby?
If
the answer is Yes! to any of the questions above, then why not come and
join the OA junior Saints?
Here
at the OAs we also have a great senior women's section and so are
the only club in Herts to offer girls rugby for 5 years to
50 years! ( or whatever age you wish to play till!)
At
OA's the girls coaches include female coaches-again OA's is leading the
way as most girls are coached solely by male coaches, not only that the
coaches are in a class of their own! Jane Everett is the lead coach,
her duaghter plays for the U15 girls. Jane is a former Saint and a
former England prop and the only person at OA's to hold a Rugby World
Cup winners medal! Jane is helped by her sister Cath, also a former
Saint and also a former England A player, so what better start to your
rugby career than to be coached by two ladies who really know rugby!
Rugby
is FUN! You will make lots of friends,
So
if you want to give rugby a TRY! please contact the Saints Junior Girls Coach Jane Everett on 07989
904925 or
e-mail junior.oasaints@yahoo.co.uk for more information.
The girls
train on a Wednesday 7pm till 8.30pm and play their matches on a Sunday
afternoon.
